Aya Z. Elalami joins the Firm after graduating at the top of her class from Loyola Law School where she received her Juris Doctorate degree in May of 2021. During law school, Ms. Elalami was active in the Youth Justice Education Clinic where she assisted in representing special education youth in due process and disciplinary hearings. Ms. Elalami’s zealous advocacy resulted in one youth receiving thousands of dollars worth of education services as well as attorney fees.
While in law school, Ms. Elalami worked for a full-service trust & estate firm where she researched legal issues and prepared legal memoranda in preparation for trial. Thereafter, Ms. Elalami interned at the major and sex crimes division at the District Attorney’s office where she worked on high-profile cases such as a homicide case involving a well-known Los Angeles rapper. Most recently, Ms. Elalami worked for a Plaintiffs’ personal injury firm where she worked directly with wildfire victims to file their claims and prepare for mediation.
